Choose the airport station by terminal, then choose the city route

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport now has direct intercity rail stations at the airport. Baiyun Airport East serves T3, while Baiyun Airport North serves T2.

Baiyun Airport East is the main station for T3, while Baiyun Airport North serves T2. Terminal 1 is closed for renovation, and Baiyun Airport South is temporarily unavailable, so travelers should confirm their terminal before choosing a train.

For 12306 searches, use these exact mappings: Baiyun Airport East = baiyunjichangdong; Baiyun Airport North = baiyunjichangbei; Baiyun Airport South = baiyunjichangnan. The English labels shown in this guide are for identification and may not match the station-search format on the official ticketing system.

Travelers starting inside Guangzhou can board the East Ring Intercity at Panyu, Pazhou or Keyunlu and continue directly toward the airport.

Cities such as Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhaoqing, Huizhou and parts of Qingyuan have direct East Ring Intercity service to the airport. Travelers should still compare departure times because some direct services are infrequent.

For most other cities in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, the practical route is a high-speed train to Guangzhou South, a walking transfer to the connected Panyu station, and then East Ring Intercity to Baiyun Airport East or North.

Metro remains a useful fallback from Guangzhou. For T3, official guidance directs passengers to Metro Lines 3 or 9 and the airport shuttle connection at Gaozeng. Verify live operating details before departure.
